About Dr. Andrea Jordheim, DC, CFMP
Dr. Andrea Jordheim DC CFMP is an upper cervical chiropractor and a certified functional medicine doctor at Transformation Wellness Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. She is driven by a deep-rooted desire to help patients achieve their utmost personal health goals, believing that the excellent health you deserve comes from the body’s natural, innate vitality.
Dr. Andrea has proven herself as an excellent health care provider, health promoter, communicator, and supporter of patients who live with complex and chronic health conditions. She is a practicing certified functional medicine practitioner who strives to identify the cause of her patients’ diseases/conditions by uncovering any underlying biochemical and physiological dysfunction. She honors each patient’s unique circumstances and endeavors to restore optimal physiological function and well-being.
Along with her passion for nutrition and healthy eating, Dr. Andrea has additional training in the utilization of many therapeutic diets, including autoimmune, paleo, SIBO/Bi-Phasic, low-FODMAP, detox, and intermittent fasting. She has extensive training and personal experience with well-formulated, nutritional ketogenic diets. Dr. Andrea is also a Certified Gluten Practitioner with extensive knowledge and clinical experience in the field of gluten-related disorders, including the causes of non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS) and celiac disease (CD).
Through upper cervical chiropractic care and Dr. Andrea’s holistic approach, she has successfully restored the health and transformed the lives of hundreds of people at her medical practice and on a medical missionary trip to El Salvador. As a lifelong learner, she has earned hundreds of additional hours in advanced post-graduate upper cervical training. She graduated with honors from Life Chiropractic College West.
This energetic wife and mother’s talents extend far beyond her interest in helping patients achieve their health goals. She is an avid rock climber, yoga student, hiker, has competed in triathlons, worked as a nanny, and served as a substitute teacher at a private school for kindergarten through 6th grade.
